Overview
Temple Isaiah, the Jewish Community Center of Palm Springs, one of Southern California’s most iconic synagogues, is seeking a part-time cantor/cantorial soloist/student, to join our beloved rabbi for inspirational Shabbat services, which are warm, welcoming, and participatory.
The Cantor should be a graduate of a recognized cantorial school or can be a current student. Cantorial soloists will also be considered and all candidates must have exceptional ritual and musical skills. We are looking for the cantor/soloist/student to also be a kind and caring person who would like to be part of a great pulpit team and will be under the supervision of our rabbi.
Temple Isaiah is an inclusive and welcoming congregation. We encourage participation from all who seek a connection to Jewish life and want to be part of our sacred community. We are committed to being an open tent, a place that welcomes all people, regardless of background, who are seeking a caring and compassionate synagogue, dedicated to a contemporary, progressive and joyful expression of Judaism.
