Rabbi Careers

The Montreal Jewish community has an established network of Jewish elementary and high schools, summer camps and many kosher bakeries and restaurants.

The ideal candidate will:

• have a minimum of 5 years of pulpit experience,

• be an inspiring, halachic and spiritual role model who encourages commitment to Judaism,

• be a member of the Rabbinical Assembly and/or have ordination from a recognized Jewish institution with a strong educational background in both religious and secular studies,

• have excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills,

• have experience teaching small groups and offering inspiring sermons,

• be interested in taking an active leadership role in the wider Montreal Jewish community.
