Beth Israel Congregation is seeking an inspiring, compassionate, and dedicated part-time Rabbi to lead our warm, inclusive, and multi-generational community.  We are an egalitarian congregation that values deep connections, meaningful Jewish engagement, and a balance between tradition and innovation.

We seek a Rabbi who will bring energy, warmth, and vision to guide us forward.  Our next Rabbi will:

– Partner with lay leadership in sustaining and growing Jewish life
– Provide spiritual guidance and foster thoughtful discussions
– Inspire connection and belonging within our congregation and the greater Chester County community
– Embrace our vision for the future, balancing tradition with innovation

How do you do Jewish : Unaffiliated
Timing Expectations: Lead Shabbat twice a month and all holidays. Schedule will be mutually agreed upon.

Qualifications:

- Rabbinical ordination from a recognized and accredited seminary
- Desire to partner with congregational leadership to nurture and sustain Jewish life
- Warm, interpersonal style
- Ability to build meaningful relationships

Position Start Date: July 1, 2026
Salary Range: $48,000-$57,000
