About Mount Sinai Congregation

Mount Sinai is a URJ affiliated synagogue that serves as the center of Jewish life in North Central Wisconsin with a regional congregation. This area includes the communities of Wausau, Marshfield, Stevens Point, Minocqua and points in between. The congregation has been in existence since 1914 and in the current location and building since 1993. Our members include a wide range of observance and backgrounds. We welcome all LGBTQ+ families and interfaith families. We take great pride in the experience ‘The Little Shul That Could’ brings to our members.
