About Congregation Brothers of Israel

CBOI is an egalitarian community of caring and diverse people, who strive to be connected to our faith, families and larger community.  We are a growing, evolving, and inclusive congregation enriching and continuing our tradition of outstanding affordable Jewish life.

CBOI is looking for a mutually beneficial relationship with our new Rabbi.  We are a Conservative synagogue creating space for innovative and engaging participation in Jewish ritual and traditions. Our synagogue has, for more than 141 years, provided an inviting Jewish home for Jews from many different backgrounds and diverse viewpoints. Our members are not looking for the fanciest shul in town; they are looking for a congregation where they are part of a family. Members, young and old, want to be actively engaged in a stimulating Jewish environment.
