The Open Dor Project can help you receive the community, training, resources and inspiration you need to succeed.

The Open Dor Project selects a limited number of extraordinary, entrepreneurial Jewish clergy from across the country to participate in a community of community builders designed to address the most pressing needs of spiritual startup leaders.

Each year, the Open Dor Project will invite 3 to 5 exceptional Jewish clergy leaders and their emerging spiritual community projects to join our cohorts and receive real and meaningful investment in their visions of Jewish spiritual life.

Qualifications:

It is required that you are an ordained member of clergy and your community is:
In early-stage development: You’re more than an idea on a napkin but less than 3 years from founding.

Open And Welcoming:  Designed to welcome and fully serve individuals, couple, and families interested in exploring Jewish ritual and learning to bring meaning and connectedness to their lives.

Spiritual Innovation & Local Roots: You are creating innovative spiritual community that is serving a demonstrated local need, in a city or town where you have strong roots, built-in credibility, and supporters.

​Leadership Team:  Led in partnership with a core team of volunteers or professionals helping you grow your network of community participation and support.
