About Temple Kol Ami Emanu-El

In the four decades since our establishment, we have grown from about a dozen founding families to become one of North America's most vibrant, forward-thinking and innovative congregations.

We seek to create profound and meaningful connections with members of our congregation through inspirational and creative services, cutting-edge educational programming, as well as innovative social action initiatives.

Mission and Values

Creating Profound Spiritual Connections
We are rooted in our tradition yet equally focused on the current and future needs of the Jewish people.  We are desirous to bring you into a stronger spiritual connection with Judaism. We believe in a shared responsibility of healing, transforming, and repairing our world (tikkun olam) through acts of loving kindness (gemilut chasadim), concern for the well being of all people, and our devotion to the pluralistic religious values of Liberal Judaism.

We are committed to the State of Israel and her people, as well as Jewish communities and Reform Jewish values wherever they may be found. We celebrate our identity as a multi-generational family oriented congregation, as well as a community that embraces diversity, welcomes the stranger, and seeks to provide a warm and nurturing environment to all who choose to call us home.  Come and see what all of the excitement is about at Temple Kol Ami Emanu-El, and why we are becoming one of Broward County’s most vibrant Jewish community synagogues.

The Religious and Spiritual Experience
The religious and spiritual experience at Kol Ami Emanu-El is enhanced by the beautiful setting in which we hold our services. Our magnificent sanctuary sets an appropriate mood for worship and celebration, while our smaller and less formal chapel provides a more intimate setting. From time to time, we also hold services in “Gan Shalom,” (our meditative gardens), in a local park and on the beach by the Atlantic Ocean.
