Overview
DESCRIPTION | Passion. Purpose. Impact. CJP is at the heart of Greater Boston’s Jewish community, but our reach is felt around the world. We bring together the resources, volunteers, leadership, and expertise to care for people in need, advocate for Israel, and ensure a vibrant Jewish future. Together, we’re helping struggling families find financial stability, making Jewish learning relevant and inclusive, connecting the next generation to Jewish life, and so much more. Our greatest resource is our people — the staff, volunteers, partners and leaders who help make Greater Boston’s Jewish community a welcoming home. It’s this energy and commitment that drive CJP’s mission. We are one of Boston’s oldest and most respected philanthropic organizations and we are currently seeking a Senior Director, Young Adults Engagement.
The Senior Director of Young Adult Engagement will have a key leadership role in our expanding young adult initiative. Seeking to connect more Young Adults (post college through age 45) to Jewish life, learning, and community, this position will be driven by considering how to best meet the evolving needs of the post-college community in Greater Boston. The Senior Director will help create and will be responsible for driving the Young Adult strategy for CJP, which plays the role of funder, convener, and programmer. Sitting on the Jewish Learning and Engagement team, the Senior Director will oversee a team focused on young adults (including families with young children). The Senior Director will manage key projects, express a vision for this agenda, and work closely with the rest of the Jewish Learning & Engagement (JLE) team to create mechanisms for hand offs, synergies, and mutually reinforcing strategies between the various JLE components.
