PART-TIME RABBI POSITION — NYC
The Roosevelt Island Jewish Congregation (RIJC) in New York City, a small, egalitarian, progressive synagogue founded in 1976, seeks a part-time rabbi.
Responsibilities will consist of planning and leading High Holy Day services and approximately 25 additional events per year, including Friday night and festival services, adult learning/education classes, family dinners & activities, as well as providing support to the RIJC community for life-cycle events.

We seek a creative, enthusiastic and vibrant individual to help lead the RIJC’s mission to provide spiritual support and renewed Jewish knowledge to our unique Island community. RIJC members, friends and donors represent a diversity of ages (ranging from families with young and teen-age children to older adults and seniors, singles and couples), national and international origins, and religious and spiritual backgrounds.
