Overview

What we are looking  for in terms of services:

Erev RH, morning and evening on 1st day and Yom Kippur, Kol Nidre, morning, afternoon, Yizkor and Ne’ela.  No real sermons necessary, but short d’vars on the prayers and Torah readings.   Looking for a conservative egalitarian service, we use the Silverman machzor (what we have), but have used a supplemental booklet in the past for certain parts of the service..

Community Description:

University community. The numbers of student will range from 25 – 75 with the higher numbers being at the evening services.

Work Remotely: no
Qualifications:

Ability to lead services and Torah readings (may have some student help).

Position Start Date: September 9, 2018

Salary Range: $2,500 - $3,000 plus travel
