About Macks Center for Jewish Education

The Macks Center for Jewish Education was conceived at a meeting of lay and professional Jewish educators in 1921 to "study the Jewish educational needs of this community and to provide the means for improvement thereof".  Since then, in addition to providing consultation and services to traditional schools,  our mission has extended into the area of educational engagement with a focus on reaching families with young children.

Our mission states that we promote lifelong learning that nurtures Jewish identity and strengthens Jewish community.  Our vision includes Jews of all ages, denominations and interests engaged in some form of learning experience.  We serve as a creative catalyst, encouraging Jewish growth and innovation for individuals, families and the community.
