Overview

Congregation Temple Beth El, a conservative traditional egalitarian synagogue, located in the heart of the Catskills (7 miles from Monticello) is seeking a seasonal rabbi for Shabbat services, June 29 – September 3.  A one bedroom apartment, as well as  2 additional bedrooms, are attached to the synagogue and available for the rabbi all season long.  The rabbi would be required to lead services, including reading from the Torah, and conduct a discussion group after the Kiddush and hopefully available for community outreach.  Our budget is 500.00/Shabbat.   Anyone interested may send a resume to meseitel@aol.com.

Qualifications:

Must be able to read Torah, lead/sing traditional prayers, hold discussion group following Shabbat Kiddush and do community outreach as possible.

Ideal position for educator, retired rabbi or chaplain.
