Overview

Congregation Kol Am of Freehold NJ is seeking a part time Rabbi for our close knit, 50 family strong Reform Egalitarian congregation. Our ideal candidate is someone who inspires spirituality and connects genuinely to both children and adults. S/he should be able to chant from the Torah and show a natural engagement with the congregation during and outside of services.

Responsibilities include: Leading most Friday night and all major holiday services, involvement in Sunday religious school, tutoring B’nai Mitzvah students, officiating at life-cycle events including interfaith weddings, and occasional Shabbat Torah study.

It is our hope that the Rabbi will invigorate the membership by promoting a sense of belonging, inclusiveness, and stimulate and inspire from the pulpit.
