Congregation Agudas Achim in San Antonio is one of the fastest growing Conservative synagogues in North America, having grown from 480 to 600 families in the last 3.5 years. Our Senior Rabbi, Jeffrey Abraham, a JTS grad, recently was named as one of the prestigious 40 Under 40 by the San Antonio Business Journal (the first clergy to ever receive this award. He is looking for a wonderful High Holiday partnership on the Bimah to share a meaningful and spiritual experience with the congregation.
We are looking for an engaging Rabbi or Cantor to lead our congregation on High Holidays in Torah Service and Musaf on both days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur as well as Ma’ariv on Erev Rosh Hashanah, Kol Nidre, Yizkor, and Neilah on Yom Kippur. There are no Torah readings or Shofar Blowing needed for this position.
Previous experience leading services on High Holidays is preferred and/or knowledge of the nusach.
