Primary Responsibilities
- Provide religious and spiritual leadership to invigorate and energize members
- Inspire Jewish knowledge, understanding, beliefs, and practices
- Create personal and meaningful interactions with congregants and greater community
- Promote communal activity and work to build membership

Principal Duties
- Lead Shabbat, Holiday, and all services as needed
- Lein Torah
- Create a warm, welcoming and accepting prayer environment
- Deliver meaningful sermons designed to educate, inform, challenge, and inspire
- Coordinate and officiate lifecycle events, including but not limited to: Brit Milah, baby namings, B’nai
Mitzvot, weddings, funerals, and Shiva services.
- Work with the religious committee to address ritual practices, services, and holiday programs
- Coordinate and deliver educational programs, designed to appeal to a broad range of participants
- Actively seek and welcome new members
- Work with the Board of Governors to establish strategies for active community participation
- Visit the sick, elderly, and shut-ins
- Maintain an active presence on CKI social media and website
- Be available in person, via telephone, email, and text for consultation with congregants
