About Congregation Beth Shalom, Bozeman, MT
We are a diverse congregation of approximately 100 member families. We have an increasing nucleus of engaged young families and young professionals, in addition to our active retirees, who are all invested in seeing the Temple grow. We value our many families of mixed heritage who are exploring what it means to live a modern Jewish life. Our full congregation actively participates in the larger life-cycle events, High Holidays and Passover, and many attend our semi-monthly Shabbat services as well. Throughout the year we participate in educational programs (i.e., religious school, Torah study, Adult Education) and smaller self-selected chavurah (i.e., Jewish Film Fest, Book Club, Brews for Jews Beer Group, Interfaith Activities, Tikun Olam volunteer events, MSU Jewish Student Union and our Young Professionals Group). Our congregation has a 30+ year history and strong base of people who care about each other and Judaism. We own our synagogue building, which is centrally located, and it is home to our sanctuary, library, offices, religious school, and three Torah scrolls.
